Gaia's Grandmothers

Do you remember your Grandmother? Most of us have memories of her wisdom, nuturing and unconditional love for us. Gaia's Grandmothers is being formed to bring that feeling back to the world. Throughout history and across cultures, Grandmothers have been the keepers of the knowledge, history and wisdom. We have turned to our Grandmothers and trusted their wisdom. Gaia's Grandmothers will be a group of women and men who will advocate for our children, our spirits, our souls and Mother Earth.

Using the wisdom that living brings and the traditions of the elders, Gaia's Grandmothers will cross gender, age culture and political borders to manifest peace in our time. Remembering that peace is not the absence of conflict but rather the process of conflict resolution that results in justice for all, Gaia's Grandmothers will work to bring all parties together to talk.

Gaia's Grandmothers will walk through the halls of legislatures world wide demanding justice, deliver food to hungry children, stand between parties in conflict, touch the wounded and tired and remind the world of their obligations to one another and this planet.
